Texas Delta Gamma

During the spring semester of 1971, Texas Delta Gamma became the 100th chapter of Pi Tau Sigma.Seventeen charter members' were initiated at the chapter's installation banquet held in May.

Since its birth, the Texas Delta Gamma chapter has assisted the Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Department through several activities. Members have volunteered to act as proctors during any examination given in the department. A major project is a tutoring service provided to students needing help in math and engineering courses. A long-range project will have reached its completion when a four foot casting of the Pi Tau Sigma key is placed in the new Engineering Complex. Members have worked to erect the key in memory of one of the fraternity's charter members, now deceased. The chapter also encourages scholarship by giving recognition to the outstanding sophomore mechanical engineering student each year.
