The enthusiasm and cooperation of the late Professor 1. A. Hunter of the University of Colorado and Professor H. E. Degler, resulted in a petition which was supported by the faculty of the University of Colorado. This petition culminated in the installation of the Colorado Mu Chapter on May 21, 1932, with National Secretary J. V. Martenis presiding.
Each year the Colorado Mu Chapter honors an outstanding, Mechanical Engineering sophomore with the Pi Tau Sigma sophomore award.
The chapter actively works with A.S.M.E. and the Associated Engineering Students of the University of Colorado, in providing tutoring, tours of the Engineering Center, and numerous social functions.
