Columbia Delta Omicron

In the fall of 1976, eligible mechanical engineering student under the leadership of Yiao-Tee Hsia at Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science petitioned the National Council of Pi Tau Sigma for the establishment of a local chapter at Columbia University. The petition was unanimously approved and the Columbia University Delta Omicron Chapter was formally installed on May 13, 1977 by National Officers, Edward W. Jerger, President; Hudy Hewitt, Jr., Secretary Treasurer; and Joseph R. Gartner, Vice President.

To promote the high ideals of Pi Tau Sigma, the Columbia Delta Omicron Chapter plans future projects which will help advance the engineering profession, e.g. tutorial program, lectures and plant tours.

ANNUAL SUMMARY REPORTS
