In the Spring 2021, Associate Professor Dr. Jandro L. Abot proposed the establishment of a Pi Tau Sigma Chapter at the Catholic University of America. Stephen Cypher, a CUA mechanical engineering student, led the effort on the student side.
The CUA petition was approved and the chapter was designated the CUA Beta Omicron chapter, officially chartered on May 13, 2021.
